Betty Lou Ingold, 86, Taylor, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Richardton Health Center. Betty Lou’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Immanuel Church of Taylor with Rev Lynn Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Lutheran Cemetery. Betty Lou’s visitation will be Tuesday from noon until 5 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service and will continue one hour prior to service time at the church.

Betty Lou was born February 14, 1922 to Glenn and Ina (Phimister) Robertson at Dickinson. She attended first grade at Gladstone and then moved to Taylor where she graduated from Taylor High School in 1939. Betty Lou married Raymond Ingold on August 24, 1941 at Wibaux, Mont. Betty Lou worked for many years at the Taylor Post Office and was a part-time cook at Taylor Public School.

Betty Lou was a member of the Taylor VFW Auxiliary and the Women’s Guild of United Church of Christ of Taylor, she also served one term as President of the Stark County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Betty Lou is survived by her four children; Jerald (Kaye Lynne) San Antonio, Texas, Dwight, Camano Island, Wash., Cheryl Riisager, Timonium, Md., and Robert (Adeline), Manning; four grandchildren, Angela and Andrew, San Antonio, Justin, Hazen, and Jeremy, Iraq; three great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond (November 14, 1968) and her parents. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Taylor Cemetery Association.
