Beverly Ann Polensky, 68, Dickinson, died on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family. Bev’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Basil Atwell OSB as celebrant and Deacon Ron Keller assisting. Inurnment will take place at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a Divine Mercy Rosary and Vigil at 7 p.m. with Deacon Ron Keller presiding. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the Mass.
Beverly Ann Fraase was born February 26, 1955 in Elgin, the daughter of Victor and Ethel (Winter) Fraase. She was raised and educated in Mott. She went on to attend Culinary School in Minnesota.
Beverly was united in marriage after playing hard to get to Wilbur “Willy” Polensky on October 1, 1988 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson.
Bev had a deep connection with our Lord and loved to share her faith with everyone. She was full of laughter, love, and silliness. She was very animated and a bit feisty at times. Bev had a special gift for friendship and hospitality and sharing her wonderful cooking with anyone who came to her home.
She enjoyed photography, cooking, garage sale-ing, camping, music and prayer.
Bev is survived by her husband, Willy; son, Aaron Polensky; her mother, Ethel Fraase; sisters, Collette (Adrian) Fraase-Simon, Dianne Witte and Colleen Spears; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Victor; and two brothers, Duane Fraase and Curtis Fraase.
Bev’s motto was “In God’s Will is where I find my peace.”
