A Memorial Mass in loving memory of Bruce Duane Adamski will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, South Heart, with Fr. Shannon Lucht as the celebrant. Bruce age 56, died on January 30, 2010 at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Bruce was born August 22, 1953 in Dickinson, the son of John, Jr. and Eleanor (Kordonowy) Adamski. He was raised and educated in South Heart having graduated as Salutatorian from South Heart High School in 1971.

After going to college for two years in Rapid City, S.D., Bruce moved to Denver, Colo. He worked in the accounting field for several years in the Denver area. Bruce had a passion for singing/performing. He was part of a musical group in Denver for several years. Bruce’s son, Devon was born in 1983 in Denver. He enjoyed spending time with Devon and the rest of the family while in the Denver area.

Bruce decided to venture south to Florida in 1990, where he enjoyed the warm weather and the beautiful beaches and ocean. He had a real passion for raising orchids and loved to watch the dolphins. Bruce was a partner in a graphic design business for several years in Fort Lauderdale, prior to his death. Bruce will be missed by many and especially his family.

Bruce is survived by his son, Devon Adamski, Aurora, Colo.; his mother, Eleanor Adamski, South Heart; brother, Gordon Adamski, Hendersville, Tenn.; and his sister, Karen (Richard) Frechette, Tucson, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
