Carey James Ficek, 73, Dickinson, died on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at his home. In accordance with his wishes, a private family burial will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in New Hradec where he will be laid to rest beside his parents.
Carey was born July 3, 1953 in Dickinson, the son of Laudie A. and Mildred (Kostelecky) Ficek.
He is survived by two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
