Carol Ann Sadowsky, 70, Dickinson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Benedictine Living Community, Dickinson. Carol’s Liturgy of Word Service will be at 1 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2025 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service with a Rosary and Vigil at 6 p.m. with Deacon Dan Tuhy presiding. Visitation will continue from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Carol Ann Felland was born August 19, 1954, to Omer and Jeanne (Ewen) Felland of Watford City. Carol attended school in Watford City where she graduated in 1972.
While Carol was working as an aide at the hospital in Watford City, her friend Renae introduced her to Bernie Sadowsky who quickly became the love of her life. Carol and Bernie were married in Dickinson on May 14, 1976, and welcomed their son, Aaron, to the family in 1984.
Carol worked at various offices before she and Bernie became the proud owners of ABC Diesel. Carol took care of the books and Bernie was the diesel mechanic. In 2007, Carol and Bernie became proud grandparents of Lelend, their only grandchild. Besides having a deep love for her dogs, Carol enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping, and fishing.
Carol is survived by her husband, Bernie; son, Aaron; grandson, Lelend; mother, Jeanne; sisters, Julie (Ron) Hauck, Colleen (Jim) Pojorlie; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Roderick) Yoakum, Christine (Mark) Bishop; brothers-in-law, Bob (Sandy) Sadowsky; Pat (Laura) Sadowsky; Jim (Teela) Sadowsky, David (Laura) Sadowsky, and Howard (Melissa) Sadowsky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Omer Felland; maternal grandparents, Bill and Eva Ewen; paternal grandparents, Oscar and Helen Felland; and nephews, Daniel Forland and Scott Croff.
