Carolene Ann Wokal-Jablonsky, 78, Belfield, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson. Carol’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield, with Fr. Shannon Lucht as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Al Schwindt presiding.

Carol Beekman was born in Yoder, Wyoming on February 6, 1939 to Edward and Ann (Robinson) Beekman. She graduated from Shoshoni High School in Wyoming in 1957. Carol married Kenneth Wokal in December 1967 in Jackson, Missouri. Kenneth and Carol traveled to Egypt and Nigeria for Ken’s work and later returned to Belfield to work in the oil industry. Ken Wokal passed away in April 1, 1982. Carol worked as an Executive Secretary for Canterra.

Carol married Albert Jablonsky on October 11, 1986. Carol was proud of the fact that she was baptized, had her first holy communion, was confirmed, and married all in the same day. Carol and Albert enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pinochle, gardening, going to Belfield’s sporting events, and their grandkids! Albert passed away in March 2009. Carol loved sewing, crocheting, bowling, and reading. Later in life, she played a lot of computer games and enjoyed watching old movie re-runs. She was a great cook and made cooking look so effortless!

Blessed to have shared her life are step-daughters; Deb Allard, Minot, Tammy (Jim) Schroeder, Bismarck, Robin (Wendell) Sauter, Velva, and Traci (Clyde) Baker, Wecota S.D.; step-daughter-in-law, Irene Jablonsky, Greeley, Colo.; sisters, Nina Kult, Tuscon, Ariz. and Debra (John) Hawley, Cheyenne, Wyo.; brother, Donald (Marsha) Beekman, Lindale Texas; brothers-in-law, Dell Wilson, Daniel, Lukowiak, John (Roberta) Jablonski, Charlie (Arlene) Jablonsky, Don (Marge) Jablonsky, and Larry (Shirley) Jablonsky; sisters-in-law, Diana Beekman, Virginia (Willie) Mastel, Greta Privratsky, and Martha Jablonsky; step-grandchildren, Denver (Benita), Randi, Heather (Eric), Teal (Josh), Dara, Sharona (Scott), Johnette, Schanen, Cody (Christine), Jamie (Joe), Damian, Torey, and Aimee (Sonny); 20 step-great-grandchildren with two more expected in 2018; and many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth; and second husband, Albert; step-sons, Jeffery Wokal and Rocky Jablonsky; step-son-in-law, Allen Allard; brothers, Garnell Beekman, Ramon Beekman, Gordon Beekman; sisters, Barbara Wilson, Beverly Morton, Judith Beekman, and Toni Lukowiak; brothers-in-law, Everett Kult, Edward Jablonsky, Alfred Jablonsky, Raymond Jablonsky, Virgil Koolmo and Walt Shypkowski; sisters-in-law, Gladys Koolmo and Tillie Shypkowski; and nephew, Paul Wilson.
