Catherine Ann “Cathy” Lundberg, 76, Dickinson, ND, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at the St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Cathy’s funeral will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the United Methodist Church, Dickinson, with Rev. Scott McKirdy officiating. Interment will follow at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue at the church one hour prior to services.

Catherine Ann Westlake was born October 15, 1931, in Dickinson the daughter of Grant and Alma (Berg) Westlake. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School in 1949. She went on and received her BS degree in music and elementary education from Dickinson State Teachers College in 1953.

Cathy married Calvin Lundberg on June 6, 1954 at the United Methodist Church in Dickinson. She had taught school in Gladstone for one year prior to a 25 year career teaching private piano lessons in her home.

Cathy enjoyed playing the piano and organ, making trips in their travel trailer to places such as the Black Hills and Medora. Having coffee with friends, working on word search puzzles and cooking brought her much enjoyment. Cathy was very proud of her family and grandsons and the time spent visiting with them. She belonged to homemakers, the United Methodist Women, and the DHS and DSU Faculty Wives group.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Cal; their two children, Julee (Jeff) Mead, Rochester, MN, and Jeff (Roseanne) Lundberg, Thompson Falls, MT; and two grandsons, Joe and Grant Lundberg, Thompson Falls.
