Chandler Joe Messer was born March 8, 1996 in Grand Forks, the son of Wendy Messer. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Dickinson High School. He was employed by Able Inc.
In his free time, he enjoyed swimming, listening to Kenny Chesney, watching Toy Story and surfing the web.
Chandler was a gentle giant with a sweet soul. He lived life at his own pace, always taking his time and rushing for no one. Perhaps this is something we could all learn from. Whether it was his infectious smile or contagious laugh, all who knew Chandler were impacted in some way by knowing him. To know him was to love him and this world was simply a better place with him in it. He knew more than he led us all to believe and taught us all in his own way. At times, he could be quite stubborn or sneaky to get what he wanted. Life with Chandler was always an adventure because you never knew what ride he was going to take that day. He was definitely one of a kind, an extraordinary young man, an angel on earth as he will be in heaven. Rest in peace Bubba, until we meet again.
