Charlene A. Faller, 93, Dickinson, died on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at CountryHouse, Dickinson. Charlene’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2025 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson. Inurnment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church with a rosary at 9:30 a.m.

Charlene A. Zahradnik was born on October 20, 1931 in Dickinson, the daughter of Louis and Mildred (Oukrop) Zahradnik. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Dickinson High School.

Prior to marriage, she worked at Britton Jewelers. Charlene was united in marriage to William “Bud” Faller on April 11, 1950. They worked on the farm, raised their three children and spent 70 wonderful years together.

Charlene enjoyed sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren while they were growing up, collecting dolls, gardening, and traveling the United States.

She was a member of a Good Neighbor Homemaker Club, Catholic Daughters, Queen of Peace Church, St. Ann’s Auxiliary, and was a Eucharist minister.

Charlene is survived by her children, Danette (Willard) Gunwall, Dickinson, and Nanette (Roger “Skip”) Rapp, Dickinson; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Faller, Fargo; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Pauline Kessel, and Lu Faller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; son, James Faller; her parents; sister, Rogette (Marvin) Shannon; brothers-in-law, Seven (Rose) Anderson, John (Carmen) Faller, Gene (Marge) Robinson, Lee Faller, Ted Kessel, and Betty Jean Faller.
