Christopher R. Kirkpatrick, 40, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in Glendive, Montana. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.

Chris was a hardworking man who spent much of his life working in the oil fields, providing for his family through long days and hard work. His years in the oil field were a reflection of the kind of man he was: tough, dependable, and willing to put in the work. 

He was born in the Philippines while his father was stationed with the United States Navy. Chris grew up in the Medford and Grants Pass area in Oregon, before eventually making his home in Dickinson, North Dakota.

Chris was a caring husband and father. He worked hard to give his children a good life and taught them the importance of family, having fun, and never be afraid of hard work.

Chris leaves a lasting legacy through his loving wife, Heidi, and their four children: Cheyenne, Alix, Kiara, and Declan. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his strength and devotion to his family.
