Clara Munsch, 87, Dickinson, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson with family by her side. Clara’s Memorial Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, New Hradec. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Clara Karsky was born August 15, 1930 in New Hradec, daughter of Anton and Anna (Kudrna) Karsky. She attended grade school at Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School. In 1949 she graduated from Model High School in Dickinson.

In 1949, she started working at Liberty National Bank. On September 18, 1950, Clara married Reuben Munsch in New Hradec at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. After marrying, she took time off from the bank while Reuben taught country school. Clara returned to work at Liberty National Bank in 1960, where she remained for 30 years until retirement in 1990. They lived in Dickinson for many years and they also enjoyed the winters in Yuma, Arizona for many years.

Clara enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and any kind of sewing. She also belonged to the Good Sam Club.

Clara is survived by her sons, Theodore “Ted” (Connie Baehr) Munsch, Estero, Fla. and Jeffrey Munsch, Dickinson; two granddaughters, Sarah Ann and Katherine Jean Munsch; brothers, Anthony (Arlene), Jamestown, and Dennis (Arlene), Oak Lawn, Ill.; sisters, Bertha Bren and Mary Kolling, Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben; and three sisters, Gertrude Buresh, Georgia Schmaltz and Martha Karsky.
