Clarence L. Binstock, 86, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Nathan Adelson Hospice Facility in Henderson, NV. Clarence’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2021 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Msgr. Thomas Richter as celebrant. Inurnment will take place at the Dickinson Mausoleum. There will be a rosary at 9:30 a.m., prior to the Mass at the church.
Clarence was born on April 26, 1934 at Daglum, the son of Frank and Katherine (Praus) Binstock. He attended country school and then continued his education at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Dickinson.
On June 10, 1953, Clarence married Elizabeth “Betty” Kadrmas. In 1954, they relocated to Delavan, WI. He joined the Wisconsin Union Brick Layers Association where he worked as a mason. Years later Clarence and Betty had their own masonry business.
Clarence enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music, playing bingo, bowling, playing cards, and a competitive game of horseshoes. Clarence was a talented musician. He played the accordion and his passion was playing the piano for his friends and family. He had quite a sense of humor and loved to make his grandchildren laugh.
Clarence is survived by his four children, Sandra Binstock, Henderson, Dwayne (Kelly) Binstock, Elkhorn, WI, Lori Nelson, Chandler, AZ, and Randy (Donalda) Binstock, Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Steven (Angela) Binstock, Jennifer (Matthew) Klopfer, Tyler Nelson, Alexis Binstock, and Zachery Binstock; great-grandchildren, Emily, Anna, Taylor, Patrick, Dylan, Maddy, and Van; siblings, Clara Steier, Dickinson, Monica Barta, Gillette, WY, Ronald Binstock, Elkhorn, Frances Dukart, Dickinson, Gladys (Bill Bunderson) Kudrna, Black River Falls, WI, Jerry (Judy) Binstock, Bismarck,Mel (Patty Seibel) Binstock, Bismarck; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Binstock on November 13, 2016; grandson, Travis Nelson; parents; sister, Betty Zent; in-laws, Leonard Kudrna, Lud Dukart, Clarence Barta, Frank Steier, Max Zent and Kathy Binstock.
