Clifford L. Solberg, 79, Belfield, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Western Horizons Care Center, Hettinger. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Clifford at 2 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at Belfield Lutheran Church with Rev. Dawn Busch officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Belfield Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Clifford Leroy Solberg was born November 28, 1940 in Dickinson to Carl and Milla (Falkenhagen) Solberg. He attended Belfield Public School, having graduated in 1958. He married the love of his life Mary Tymchuk on February 17, 1959. He worked at a service station for ten years and then he worked as an appliance salesman for Sears in Dickinson for 23 years until the store closed. He also worked at NAPA in Belfield for over 20 years and for Super Pumper until he had a stroke.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf, but especially enjoyed getting together with his family. He always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around.
He will be missed by his family and all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Rowdy (Debby) Solberg, Rocky (Laurie) Solberg, Jesse (Lisa) Solberg and Julie (Charles) Grummons; grandchildren, Perry (Sharon) Solberg, Tera (Tom) Torstenson, Alissa (Alan) Kubik, Amanda (Dean) Byrd, Kianne (Brent) Justice, Lakota Solberg, Storm Wanner and Tas Solberg; great-grandchildren, Colton and Dylon Solberg, Emmit Atkins, Leland and Makayla Justice; siblings, Dick (Bonnie) Solberg, Lavella (Jerry) Biby, and Darlene (Russell) Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom, Gene, Vernon and Clinton; sister, Mabel; and his little great-grandson, Kayden Solberg.
