Connie Kay Alley, 55, Halliday, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 with family at her side at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson. A Service of remembrance will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the High Plains Cultural Center, Killdeer.

Connie Kay Steen was born on October 23, 1961 to Stanley and Doreen Steen in Wolf Point, Mont. She was the first of four children. Her love of horses, rodeo and ranch life came naturally as she spent her earliest years on the family ranch near Poplar, Mont. As a young lady Connie was a major part of a professional rodeo trick riding act along with her family. She then raised three beautiful children, Chelsea, Josie and Jaden. Seven years ago Connie met and married the love of her life, Jerry Alley. Since then, they worked together, played together and enjoyed life together, right along side each other in North Dakota. Connie was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on September 29, 1984, as such she has exhibited strong faith in her God Jehovah, as both creator and life giver and she truly enjoyed being part of her loving congregation in Dickinson, N.D.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation of your choice.
