Corine Seidel, 47, Dickinson, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Corine’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service and will continue at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a rosary & vigil at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Corine Lynn Messer was born February 25, 1964 at Elgin, the daughter of Martin and Lorine (Hafner) Messer. She was raised in Mott, having attended St. Vincent’s Elementary School and graduating from Mott Lincoln High School in 1983.

She was diagnosed with MS at the age of 18, but she never let this hinder or slow her down. Corine married Steve Seidel on June 3, 1988 at Lemmon, S.D. She has made Dickinson her home for the past nine years.

Corine’s family was very important to her, she took great interest in their activities and happenings. She had a fondness for animals, especially Buttons and Grizzly. Corine was very devoted to her faith and had a genuine care and concern for those around her. She loved going for walks, being outdoors, and socializing.

Corine is survived by her husband, Steve Seidel, Sioux Falls, S.D.; her parents, Martin and Lorine Messer, Mott; 10 siblings, Charlotte (David) Berger, Dickinson, Larry (Mary) Messer, Mott, Rodrick Messer, Mott, Marvin Messer, Lemmon, S.D., LaVonne Hoff, Colorado, Shirley Linster, Dickinson, Sandy (Terry) Greff, Santan Valley, Ariz., Joan Messer, Dickinson, Connie (Dennis) Wax, Regent, and Laure (Jamie) Merkel, Dickinson; three aunts; one uncle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
