Agnes Corinne Friedt was born on July 6,1937, in Richardton, the daughter of Mike and Regina (Wanner) Feller. She attended school in Taylor and completed her education, graduating from St. Mary High School in Richardton in 1955. Corinne then began her career at Farmers State Bank in Richardton, working there for five and a half years.
She united in marriage with Joseph Friedt on May 3, 1961, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Richardton. They established their home on the Friedt family farm north of Mott, where they raised four children and continued to live to this day.
A dedicated farm woman, Corinne loved mowing the lawn (but only with her riding mower), gardening, working in the fields, and milking cows and raising chickens. These activities led to her well-known title, the “Cream & Egg Lady.” She especially treasured time with her grandchildren, baking homemade buns and bread every week, and making angel food cakes for birthdays. An active community member, Corinne belonged to Homemakers, Altar Society, and Catholic Daughters of America. In her free time, she also enjoyed scrapbooking and meticulously creating an extensive family history book.
Corinne is survived by husband, Joseph; children, Arnie (Tammy) Friedt, Bernie Friedt, Roger Friedt, and Joletta (Michael) Kern; eight grandchildren, McKensy Friedt, Alyssa Friedt, Jeremiah Friedt, Katrice Kern, Courtney (Jason) Close, Christopher Will, Heather (Mike Metzen) Will, Lindsey (William) Lipp; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Myran; in-laws, Cecelia Schaff, Betty Roll, Diane Friedt, August Friedt, Jim Friedt, Marvin (Helen) Friedt, Kenny (Doris) Friedt, Stanley (Carol) Friedt, and Clifford Schudar; and numerous nieces and nephews.
