Corrine Haugen, 58, Dickinson, died unexpectedly after a brief illness on Friday, May 10, 2019 at her home. A Liturgy of Word Service will be held at 2 p.m. MST on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Deacon Ron Keller presiding and there will be a rosary one hour prior to the service.

Corrine Elizabeth Haugen was born January 7, 1961 to Eugene and Margaret Rose (Samek) Haugen in Jamestown. She was raised in Wimbledon, until the age of two, then the family moved to New Rockford. In 1974, the family relocated to Dickinson. She graduated from Dickinson High School in 1979. Corrine was a beautiful, fun loving gal who loved animals, the outdoors, and had a passion for writing poetry. She could recite poetry from her heart and had poems published. She enjoyed traveling, walking, and shopping of which she had a pair of shoes to match every outfit.

Corrine is survived by her mother Margaret; siblings: Tom (Cindy) Haugen, Dickinson, Kathy (David) Jenrich, New Rockford, Pegs (Ray) Johnson, Carrington, Jeff (Yvonne) Haugen, Dickinson, Rob Haugen, Fargo, Rick (Tess) Haugen, Dickinson, and Laurie Haugen, Fargo; special friend Allan Thorstad; three children; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Corrine was proceeded in death by her father Eugene; maternal grandparents James and Mary (Zastoupil) Samek; fraternal grandparents Cecelia (Clancy) (Joseph Haugen) (Pete) Leick.
