Cyndee Alpert, 51, Dickinson, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her home with her family by her side following a lengthy illness. Cyndee’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2011 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Rev. Scott McKirdy officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Cynthia Lois Krank was born April 25, 1959 in Dickinson, the daughter of Martin and Elsie (Hauck) Krank. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, having attended Catholic Schools and graduating from Trinity High School in 1977.

Cyndee married Alan William Alpert on October 19, 1979 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson. They have made Dickinson their home where she worked various jobs prior to opening her own daycare, which she operated for several years. Cyndee then began a 13 year career at TMI that lasted up to the time of her passing.

Cyndee enjoyed being at the bunkhouse and part of the Schefield Militia. She also enjoyed 4-wheeling, cooking and canning, various arts and crafts, caring for loved ones, gardening and going shooting.

Cyndee is survived by her husband, Alan; their two children, Cale Jacobs (Amanda Galster) Alpert, Dickinson, and Latoya Dawn (Ross) Myran, Taylor; two grandchildren, Draven Jacobs Winn and Lucille Rose Myran; her parents, Martin and Elsie Krank, Dickinson; her siblings, Reyne (Dennis) Buchholz, Portsmouth, Va., Bruce (Nancy Henning) Krank, Dickinson, Sheila (Les) Froehlich, Mandan, Tom Krank, Dickinson, and Scott (Wendy) Krank, Casselton; sister-in-law, Shirley (Dave) Palmer, Green River, Wyo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and her brother, Ervin Krank. Cyndee’s request would be that if you wish please wear camouflage clothing to her service.
