Dale Miller, 57, Mott, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a rosary at 2 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Inurnment will take place at Sunnyslope Cemetery, Mott.
Dale Peter Miller was born April 14, 1961 in Dickinson, son of Peter and Elizabeth (Roller) Miller. He was raised on the family farm north of Mott, which was the original Miller homestead. Dale attended Mott Elementary and Mott High School, having graduated in 1979.
He spent his entire life working on the farm and after the passing of his dad in 2001 he became sole owner and operator of the farm.
He loved raising cattle and making hay. He was a hobby fisherman and enjoyed watching NASCAR races on tv. He also enjoyed watching the stars with the boys on camping weekends, playing cornhole on the lawn, was an avid pitch player and loved “All You Can Eat Crab Legs” at Prairie Knights.
Dale is survived by his aunt, Alita Miller; numerous cousins and friends; and his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
