David Charles Frenzel, 75, New Hradec, died on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at CHI St. Alexius Dickinson. There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends with a Time of Sharing Stories & Memories at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Military Honors will be provided by the Dickinson American Legion Post 3 Honor Guard.
David Charles Frenzel was born July 16, 1949 in Dickinson to Ralph and Tillie (Marsh) Frenzel. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Dickinson High School. David enlisted in the United States Army on December 29, 1969 and was honorably discharged February 28, 1972. Following his discharge from the Army he began a 44 year career working for Leo’s Cabinetry.
David married Donna Meduna on September 26, 1975 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson and to this union three boys were born, Brandon, Chase, and Matthew.
His passions in life were fishing, hunting, camping, 4-wheeling, motorcycles, and most of all spending time with family.
David is survived by his wife, Donna Frenzel; son, Brandon Frenzel; grandchildren, Nevaeh Frenzel and Dominick Frenzel; siblings, Gayle (Myron) Kadrmas, Linda Keller, Ellen (Izzy) Mastel, Deb Stockert, and Don (Lonnie) Frenzel; sister-in-law, Sandy Frenzel; brother-in-law, Ben Howser; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Matthew and Chase; his parents; and siblings, James, Ralph, Judy, Jane, and Dennis.
