At the age of 13, David started harvesting with the family business “Wolf Brothers Custom Harvesting”. After graduation, he worked at Triwestern Builders of Dickinson in construction of pole buildings.

In the late 1980’s, they purchased Wolf Brothers Harvesting and Trucking. Their marriage was blessed with one child, Michael David Wolf. Michael joined David and Janel as a proprietor of the family business that they continue to own and operate today. David’s dreams were fulfilled as he traveled for the wheat harvest from Oklahoma to the Canadian border. His life revolved around his son and wife.
