Debra Lynn Brammer, 65, New England, died on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at her home. Debra’s Celebration of Life Gathering will be 4 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2025 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Inurnment will take place at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Winfield, Kansas.
Debra Lynn Gillette was born October 19, 1960 in Pratt, Kansas to Samuel and Violet (Vanderslice) Gillette. She was raised and educated in Kansas. Debra was fostered and eventually adopted by Todd and Marie Matthews.
Debra was united in marriage to Raymond Brammer in Winfield, Kansas. Throughout her life she had a love of making and selling crafts. She recently moved to New England to be closer to her family. Debra enjoyed every opportunity she had to visit with neighbors.
She spent her free time making crafts, going to garage sales and thrift stores, attending parades, and helping needy people.
Debra is survived by her children, Samuel and Eve Brammer, Dickinson, Raymond Brammer, Kansas, and Clayton Hall, New England; four grandchildren, Johnny Brammer, Alejandro Brammer, Leslie LaFromboise, and Samuel LaFromboise; siblings, Samuel “Benny” Gillette, Kansas, Tiffany Kompare, New England, David Lohmann, Kansas, and Karen and Lee Hauschild, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Violet Gillette; adoptive parents, Todd and Marie Matthews; son, Johnny Brammer; ex-husband, but still good friend, Raymond Brammer; and brother, Randy Gillette.
