Dee Ann Heidt, 52, Dickinson, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at home with family at her side. A rosary & Liturgy of Word Service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Fr. Keith Streifel presiding. Interment will follow at St. Pius Cemetery, Schefield. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the family present to visit with friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dee Ann Marie Heidt was born July 23, 1963 at Dickinson, the daughter of Christ and Mary Jean (Hanel) Heidt. She was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School. She had struggled with mental illness from the age of 17, and to have her diploma was a great joy for her. She most recently was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.
She loved working on crafts, such as: needlepoint, embroidery, leather work, pottery, latch hook, and environmental art works.
Dee Ann is survived by her mother, Mary Jean; two brothers, Ken Heidt, and Ron (Julie) Heidt, Dickinson; brother-in-law, Brad Meidinger, Dickinson; and nieces and nephews, Nathan, Brandon, and Audrey Heidt, Mitch and Eric Meidinger. She was preceded in death by her father, Christ; and her sister, Terry Meidinger.
