Delores E. Wiege, 73, Dickinson, was called home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson, with her family at her side. Delores’ funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Hillside Baptist Church, Dickinson with Rev. Ron Gold officiating. Interment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
Delores was born January 27, 1937 in Richardton the daughter of Tony and Anna (Stoltz) Hellman. She married Emil Wiege on October 27, 1955. Together they had three sons, Doug, Scott and Shawn. Delores was a loving wife and mother.
Delores was very active in her church as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer, secretary and women’s missionary. Her great loves were her family and family gatherings, gardening, and she was an avid and accomplished bowler.
Delores is survived by her loving husband, Emil; three sons, Doug (Corrine), Scott, and Shawn (Crystal) all of Dickinson; a sister, Adeline Vaagen, Taylor; two brothers, Anthony (Karen) Hellman, Puyallup, Wash., and Terry (Marcy) Hellman, League City, Texas; five grandchildren, Kris (Brandi) Wiege, Gage Wiege, Katelyn Wiege, Tanner Wiege and Taylor Wiege; and two great-grandchildren, Jaida and Avery Wiege. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Tony; and an infant brother, Clayton.
