Delores J. Beaudoin, 58, Dickinson, ND, beloved wife, mother and grandmother died Monday, March 10, 2008 after a courageous, eight year battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family at her home. Mass of Christian Burial for Delores will be at 9 am, Saturday, March 15, 2008 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, South Heart, ND, with Fr. Shannon Lucht as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 8 am to 9 pm, Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a rosary and vigil at 6:30 pm.

Delores was born April 18, 1949 to Peter and Leocadia (Huschka) Emmil in South Heart, ND. She graduated from South Heart High School. On August 22, 1969 Delores was united in marriage to Dennis Beaudoin and they resided in Dickinson until the time of her death.

Delores was devoted to her faith. She was a member of the Altar Society and Christian Mothers. She loved sewing for her family and friends, and embroidered blankets for each of her grandchildren. Delores also enjoyed gardening, canning and she was a fantastic cook and homemaker. She loved family gatherings with her children and grandchildren on holidays or just any day. Delores was very proud of her children she raised and in her dying days, stated that her life was fulfilled and her work on earth was done. She was an unselfish individual and who always looked out for the well-being of everyone in her life. She will forever be loved and cherished in the hearts of everyone she has left behind.

Delores is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dennis; and their nine children, Wes (Donna) Beaudoin, Billings, MT, Carrie (Jeff) Decker, Dickinson, Todd Beaudoin, Mesa, AZ, Leann (Brian) Schaff, Dickinson, Jayme (Amy) Beaudoin, Dickinson, Ryan (Alyssa) Beaudoin, Dickinson, Lora Beaudoin at home, Darin Beaudoin, Rapid City, SD, and Amanda Beaudoin, at home. Her beautiful grandchildren, Blake, Nicole and Isabella Beaudoin, Jessica, Justin, Amber and Brandi Decker, Alexus and Damon Schaff, Brynn and Cort Beaudoin, Ava and Ethan Beaudoin; her sisters, Vivian (Fran) Hauck, Texas, Jan (Bob) Zastoupil, Washington, twin sister, Doris (Paul) Fettig, North Dakota, Lydia (Bill) Meduna, North Dakota and Daphne Emmil, North Dakota; her brother, Gary Emmil, North Dakota; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Larry and Keith Emmil.
