Dennis Anthony Faiman was born September 17, 1941 in Dickinson, the son of Anton and Philomine Faiman.

He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Parish, attended St. Wenceslaus School and Assumption Abbey in Richardton. He completed Auto Body School in Bismarck. Later in his career he owned and ran Faiman’s Fire Extinguisher Business.

Dennis resided in Dickinson all of his life. His surviving family are a brother, Daniel Faiman, Fairview, Mont., two sisters, Janice Herman, Dickinson and Cynthia King, Gainsville, Fla.; and brother-in-law, Edwin Kuchynski.

Dennis was a walker, talker and enjoyed meeting people. A couple of his siblings favorite moments are: a) he understood Bohemian and could tell us what we were getting for Christmas or if we were in big trouble, and b) teasing his five nieces and 13 nephews.

Dennis spent his last seven years at Evergreen Assisted Living which was his second home. He especially liked putting together jigsaw puzzles, going on local field trips, and old time music.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Philomine and Anton Faiman; sisters, Patricia (Matthew) Kugler, Georgianna (John) Rea, and Margaret Kuchynski (his favorite cook); and sister-in-law, Janet Marie Faiman.
