Dennis Hanks, 50, Dickinson, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Dickinson. Funeral services for Dennis will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2010 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding. Interment will follow at St. Pius Cemetery, Schefield. Visitation will be on Friday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Dennis was born April 29, 1960 in Dickinson, the son of Bruce and Lydia M. (Dukart) Hanks. The family moved to Black Diamond, Wash., and Dennis was raised and educated there, having attended Enumclaw High School. He went on to attend trade school where he earned a certificate in welding and auto mechanics. Dennis moved to Dickinson in 1997 and due to a disability he was unable to work.

Dennis is survived by his two brothers, David (Kimberly) Hanks, Dickinson, and Dean (Lorraine) Hanks, Black Diamond, Wash.; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents.
