Dolores Decker, 92, Dickinson, died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. There will be an immediate and extended family Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores at 10 a.m., Wednesday May 6, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. William Ruelle as celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson.

Dolores Hegel was born August 10, 1927 to Rudolph and Genevieve (Sanders) Hegel. Dolores was raised and attended school in Fryburg and Belfield.

She married Joe Decker on January 9, 1945. They lived on the Decker family farm and did diversified farming and a dairy operation. Joe passed away in January 22, 1977. Dolores was a member and past president of St. Ann’s Auxiliary of St. Joseph’s Parish and a member of Catholic Daughters.

She loved traveling, bowling, fishing, dancing, playing cards and raising flowers. Dolores married George Kubischta on August 10, 2001, and this union brought an extended family of five. George passed away in April 2013.

Dolores is survived by her children, Robert (friend Connie) Decker, Las Vegas, Nev., Karen Damske, Dickinson, Jeanie (Alan) Kadrmas, Dickinson, Rodney Decker, Dickinson, and Richard Decker, Dickinson; 11 grandchildren, Curt (Michelle) Sykora, Lori (Jason) Steckler, Lisa (Fred) Fridley, Kriss (Brandon) Martz, Cheri (Sheldon) Harrison, Bradly (Kyra) Decker, Jessie Decker, Sandra Decker, Jim Decker, Michael Decker, and Zachery Decker; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Grinsteinner, Hazen, Clara Toscas, Hemet, Calif., Rudy (Linda) Hegel, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe and George; sons, Jerel and Alan; her parents; sisters, Ellen and Dorothea; and three brothers-in-law.
