Dolores Hager, 76, formerly of Dickinson died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lincoln, NE, following a lengthy illness of Myasthenia Gravis and heart problems. There will be a rosary and funeral service at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Fr. Dennis Schafer presiding. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Dolores Anderson was born August 18, 1930 in Mobridge, SD, the daughter of Emanuel and Emma (Rische) Anderson. She graduated from Mobridge High School in 1948. Dolores moved to Bismarck where she met Joseph Hager and they were married on June 7, 1949 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Linton, ND. They moved to Dickinson where Joseph was stationed and working for Northwestern Bell Co.. Dolores was employed in the office of the Dickinson Experiment Station from April 1949 thru May 1953, then became a homemaker.

Dolores loved to bake, embroider, crochet and do other crafts. She loved antique dishes and visiting with special friends and family on the phone. She was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 1988, one of the many Muscular Dystrophy disorders.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Carol Jane, Grand Forks, ND; son, Terry (Denice), Lincoln, NE; grandsons, Joseph and Christopher in Nebraska; sisters, Betty (Paul) Heidt and Margie (Roger) Huber all of Dickinson; sisters-in-law, Ann Grenstiner, Jean McKenney and Ann Hager all of Bismarck, Sally (Joe) Pulver, Beulah, and Freda Hager, Fargo; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Joseph in January of 1987.
