Donna Mae Voegele passed away at a Bismarck, ND hospital on December 23, 2024 at the age of 81, due to complications of aging. She was cremated and laid to rest with her husband, Ray.
Donna was born on October 12, 1943 in Omaha, NE. She was raised by her parents, Beulah (Benzel) and Lester Wolfer where she had fond memories of living and growing up on the farm in SD and MN with her three sisters, Millie (Dave) Sproessig, Peggy (Earl) Miller, and Mary (Vern) Longie.
Donna was married to Tony Schaff and together they had eight children: Debbie Fay, Janet, Wanda, Tony (TJ), Beverly, Tina, Nancy, and Jay. They later divorced and she met and married her husband Ray Voegele. Ray and Donna spent many happy years together with their mini poodle, “Sparky”. They lived all around the Dickinson area. She was widowed on September 5, 2001 and continued to resided in Dickinson, which she called home.
Donna enjoyed cooking and baking for her loved ones during the holidays. She could really whip up some pretty amazing meals. She liked crocheting (until the arthritis set in) and playing card games. Later in life she liked shopping, paint by numbers on her phone, collecting angels and watching baby animals on TV. Many people cared for and about her throughout the years and helped her in various ways.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; children, Debbie, Tina, TJ, and Janet; her parents; sisters, Millie and Peggy.
