Doris A. Moore, 75, Taylor, died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Funeral services for Doris will be at 10 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2014 at Immanuel Church of Taylor, with Pastor Dale Clark officiating. Interment will follow at the Taylor Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a prayer service at 2 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Doris Ann Bloom was born May 25, 1939 at Richardton, the daughter of Henry and Reka (Tammen) Bloom. She was raised and educated in Taylor, graduating from Taylor High School, and then attending two years of college.

Doris was united in marriage to Ernest L. Moore on November 26, 1959, at the United Church of Christ, Taylor. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. She was a 20 year member of the VFW, 12 year 4-H Club leader; homemaker, amongst numerous other organizations.

She loved to cook, crochet, gardening and canning, making soap, and scrapbooking. Doris cherished spending time with and entertaining family and friends, and was the family historian.

Doris is survived by her four children, Ernie (Theresa) Moore, Hazen, Vicky (Allen) Tormaschy, Taylor, Ken (Monica) Moore, Richardton, and Carla (Greg) Kimmell, Billings, Mont.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Ardell Herr, White Sulpher Springs, Mont., Harlan (Gloria) Bloom, Taylor, Jim (Joy) Bloom, Taylor; sister-in-law, Barb Bloom, Billings, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest on December 23, 2007; her parents; brother, Max Bloom; brother-in-law, Jim Herr; granddaughter, Heather Nelson-Moore; and grandson-in-law, Jeremy Buckman.
