Dorothy Beaudoin, 81, formerly of Dickinson died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Fenton, Mo.. Dorothy’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2008 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Claude Seeberger as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Dorothy Kokkeler was born January 8, 1927 at home in Mandan, the daughter of Gerhard and Ann (Erwert) Kokkeler. She was raised in Belfield and graduated from Belfield High School.

Dorothy married Clifford Beaudoin on November 29, 1947 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Belfield. She had worked at Indegaard’s Grocery Store, 1st National Bank in Belfield, and also Electric Sales & Service in Dickinson. She enjoyed playing bridge, and working on cryptograms, crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

Dorothy is survived by three children, Michele (Gary) Lindsey, Fenton, Mo., Cindy (Mark) Baum, Helena, Mont., and Dr. Clifford “Kip” (Roberta) Beaudoin, Greenville, Wisc.; one son-in-law, Mike Goodman, Palm Desert, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Peter Decker, Dickinson; and two sisters-in-law, Margaret Kokkeler, Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and Sallie Kokkeler, Belfry, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; a daughter, Connie Goodman; sister, Euphemia “Famie”; infant sister, Shirley; three brothers, Kasey, Donald and Larry; and her sister-in-law, Sheila Kokkeler.
