Dorothy S. Olheiser, 82, Dickinson, ND, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Dorothy’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Father Dennis Schafer as celebrate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a St. Pius Verein rosary and vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding.

Dorothy S. Jirges was born August 23, 1924 to Fred and Mary (Faiman) Jirges in Dunn County, ND. Dorothy was raised in Dunn county and attended school at New Hradec, ND. Dorothy married John Olheiser on October 17, 1946 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New England, ND.

Dorothy loved being at home and raising her 11 children. Her great sense of humor brought joy to the house as did her cooking and baking. In her spare time, Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, square dancing, and gardening. She and John farmed northeast of Amidon, ND until 1982 after which they moved to Dickinson.

Dorothy is survived by her 11 children, Robert (Karla), Princeton, MN, Bernadette (John) Laciskey, Isanti, MN, Ervin, Berthoud, CO, Linda (Duane) Krank, Dickinson, Clarence (Barb), Bismarck, John (Carla), Dickinson, Kenneth, Bismarck, Susan (Terry) Symionow, Dickinson, Carla Rodakowski, Gladstone, ND, Marvin (Roberta), Ocala, FL and Allen (Holly), Fargo, ND; 19 grandchildren, Maranda Clark, Robert and Desra Olheiser, Michael Laciskey, Melissa Krachmer, Shanna Klein, Penny Haugrud, Carlene Krank, Steven, Mitchell, Leslie, Anthony, and Karen Olheiser, Derrick, Tyler, and Dustin Symionow, Amanda and Kayla Rodakowski, and Jamie Olheiser; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Alfred (Irene) Jirges, Dickinson and Edwin (Cecelia) Jirges, Billings, MT.

Dorothy was preceded in death by; her husband, John, one sister, Edith Wanner, one son-in-law, Tim Rodakowski, and one daughter-in-law, Pam Susag.
