Douglas J. Renner, 42, Dickinson, left us unexpectedly on the morning of Saturday, July 8, 2017 at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson. Doug’s service will begin with a rosary at 9:15 a.m., and Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton, with Fr. Thomas Wordekemper, OSB as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, and will continue at the church at 7 p.m., with a rosary being recited at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Doug was born in Dickinson in February 12, 1975. He attended school and graduated from Richardton Taylor High School in 1994. A farm boy at heart he spent time on the road as part of a custom harvest team. He later joined the staff at Northwest Tire in Dickinson, where he was presently employed.
Doug enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler, hunting with his family and car racing. He was a kind and gentle person never forgetting a birthday or anniversary.
Doug will be greatly missed by his family especially his parents Eugene and Mary (Nadvornik) Renner, Richardton; sisters, Wendy (Kyle) Thomson and Stephanie Renner; brother, William (Elizabeth) Renner; nephews, Steven, Jacob and Caleb; grandmothers, Agnes Nadvornik and Rose Renner; aunts, Betty (Danny) Kitzan, Pam (John) DesRoches and Joan Renner; uncles, Pat (Flo) Renner, Michael (Cindy) Renner, Dean (Darlene) Nadvornik, George (Nancy) Nadvornik, Wayne Nadvornik and their families.
Preceding Doug in death were his grandfathers, William “Bill” Renner and Joseph Nadvornik, and cousin Amber DesRoches.
