Dustin R. Hlibichuk, 29, Dickinson, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 1, 2015 at his home. Dustin’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2015 at River of Life Church International, Dickinson, with Rev. James Hessler officiating. Entombment will follow at the Dickinson Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the family present for an informal time of sharing stories and memories of Dustin. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Dustin Robert Hlibichuk was born June 18, 1985 in Dickinson, the son of Bob and Sheila (Malkowski) Hlibichuk. Dustin graduated from South Heart High School (2003) and went on to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He had worked at various restaurants in Bismarck, Fargo, and Dickinson.

In his leisure time Dustin enjoyed reading, writing, traveling, cooking, fishing, target shooting, hanging out with friends, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.

Dustin was considered an uncle to many of his friends’ children, and he has many lifelong friends that loved him like a brother, especially his closest friend, Eric Johnson, South Heart.

Dustin is survived by his parents; brother, Joshua (Elizabeth), Cedar Rapids, Iowa; sister, Amanda, Dickinson; nephews Isaiah and Micah Hlibichuk, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; niece, Vivienna Hlibichuk, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandparents Bob and Eva Hlibichuk, Belfield; grandmother Elsie Malkowski, Dickinson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dustin was preceded in death by grandfather Raymond Malkowski.
