Dwight Wandler June 25, 1950 - April 19, 2024

Dwight Wandler, 73, Dickinson, died on Friday, April 19, 2024 at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson. Per Dwight’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. Inurnment will take place at St. Pius Cemetery, Schefield.

Dwight Wandler was born June 25, 1950 in Dickinson, the son of Alphonse and Mary (Schulz) Wandler. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Schools in New England, having graduated from St. Mary’s High School.

He worked as parts specialist for Dvorak Motors and Parkway Ford. Dwight was an avid FORD junkie. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing horse shoes, and was a collector of  John Deere tractors, diecast classic cars, and NASCAR model cars.

Dwight is survived by his children, Dawn (Eric) Ahrens, Parsons, TN, Chad Wandler, Rapid City, SD, Justin Wandler, Ham Lake, MN, and Garett Wandler, Parsons, TN; eight grandchildren, Melissa Summar, Kylie Emery, Coedy Nichols, Nevaeh Wandler, Aaron Wandler, Carter Wandler, Dylan Wandler, and Alexandra Sanabria; three great-grandchildren, Luka, Cain, and Ezra Summar; his siblings, Daryl (Phyllis) Wandler, Dickinson, Faye (Donald) Pavlicek, Bismarck, Sharon (Dean) Ficek, Bismarck, Donald Wandler, South Heart,  Dean (Leslie) Wandler, New England, David Wandler, Gladstone, Doyle (Paula) Wandler, Dickinson, Rena (Tony) Biazzo, Menominee, WI, Amy (Allan) Urlacher, Dickinson, and Daniel Wandler, Dickinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Mary Wandler.
