Edlith Victoria Erickson was born August 23, 1918 to Edward and Signe (Johannson) Erickson of rural New England. She grew up on the family farm four miles east of New England.

In 1939 she met the love of her life, Donald W. Brugamyer, at a rural school party. They were married on November 16, 1940. Edlith moved to Donald’s family farm, where together they worked hand in hand and raised three sons.

Edlith was a loving and gracious woman to her husband, her children, and all whom she met. She would joyfully help out with whatever task was put before her, and she did all that she could to make life better for her family and friends. Her last request to her family was, “Never forget how much I love you.”

Edlith is survived by her three sons, DeGregg, Donald (Kristine), and Dean; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; one sister; two brothers; and daughter-in-law, Doris.

Memorial gifts are not necessary or expected. The family wishes only for your thoughts and prayers as you remember Edlith
