Edward “Ed” Reisenauer, 79, Dickinson, formerly of New England, died surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Trinity Health, Minot. Ed’s Liturgy of Word Service will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Victor Dvorak presiding. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will continue on Saturday until service time.

Edward Reisenauer was born on a farm near New England on April 16, 1939, the son of Alexander and Mary (Scheetz) Reisenauer. He was raised and educated in the New England area. In his early years, he was a logger in Montana and it was during this time that he met his future wife.

Ed was united in marriage to Barbara J. Seter on May 7, 1966 at Corvallis, Mont. In the late 1970’s they moved to Crosby to help his brother Lawrence, where he managed a supper club called the Golden Hub. Throughout his life, they had lived between North Dakota and Montana, eventually returning to the family farm in the fall of 2003.

He enjoyed cooking, fishing, riding and training horses and especially loved to farm and ranch.

Ed is survived by his wife, Barbara; their four children, Mary (Nick) Lambert, Dickinson, Dale Reisenauer, Dickinson, Margie (Glen) Tryon, Rapid City, S.D. and Dallas Reisenauer, Dickinson; five grandchildren, Layton Lambert, Logan Lambert, Taylor Tryon, Tayton Tryon and Myah Tryon; two sisters, Bee Rettinger, Dickinson and Carrie (Gerald) Praus, Dickinson; brother-in-law, Don Galster, Dickinson, and sister-in-law, MaryAnn Huffman, Spearfish, S.D.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Lawrence (Drucilla) Reisenauer, Elizabeth (John) Billman, Pauline “Pauli” Galster and Philomena Reisenauer.
