Eileen Roberts, 79, Dickinson, died on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at CHI St. Alexius Dickinson. Eileen’s Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at  Evangelical Bible Church, Dickinson with Pastor Ron Dazell officiating. Interment will follow at Immanuel Cemetery, Taylor. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Eileen Elvira Hamann was born on April 12, 1944 in Billings, MT, the daughter of Herman and Rose (Guthmiller) Hamann. She was raised and educated in Taylor, where she graduated in 1963.

Eileen was united in marriage to Neil Cassezza in 1965 and to this union a daughter and a son were born. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Sidney, MT where she worked at Ben Franklin. They moved back to Taylor in 1978. Eileen married Karl Roberts on August 9, 1986.

She enjoyed antiquing, rummage sales, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She worked at the post office in Taylor and Dickinson and eventually retired as postmaster in Gladstone.

Eileen is survived by her children, Pam Decker, Dickinson and Brendon (Mandy) Cassezza, Sioux Falls, SD; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, LaDonna (John) Portscheller, Taylor, James Hamann, Dickinson, Albert D. Myran, Jr., Dickinson, Debra Kuzmann, Weeki Wachee, FL, Randy Myran, Minot, Russ (Jerilyn) Myran, Taylor, Cordell (Elaine) Myran, Dickinson, and Kaylene (Jeff) Neidhardt, Fountain Hills, AZ; brother-in-law, Charles Doppler, Mandan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Darlys Doppler; husband, Karl; and nephews, Michael Doppler and Paul Myran.
