Eleanor E Jahner, 85, New England, died peacefully Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Richardton Health Center, Richardton, with her two daughters at her side. Eleanor’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New England, with Fr. Patrick Moore, OSB as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
Eleanor E. Kilwein was born October 5, 1926, to Anton and Marianna (Reiter) Kilwein in Dickinson. She attended Zenith grade school and Model High School in Dickinson.
Eleanor married Ralph Jahner on July 22, 1947. They lived in New England where they had four children; Jerry (Nan) Jahner, Parker, Colo., Corinne (Stuart) Davis, Bismarck, Yvonne (Carl) Logan, Amery, Wis., and Floyd (Deb) Jahner, Plano, Texas.
She resided in New England until moving to the Evergreen Inn in Dickinson in April 2010. Her final year was at the Richardton Health Center, where their care, love and concern is greatly appreciated.
Eleanor is survived by her four children; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and on sister, Sr. Jeanne d’Arc Kilwein, Merrill, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph on July 14, 1967; her parents; seven brothers and sisters; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
She leaves many happy memories with the family who will miss her. We Love You, Mom!!
