Eleanore L. Marsh, 83, Dickinson, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Country House in Dickinson. Eleanore’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 12, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Charles Heidt as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Bob Zent presiding.

Eleanore L. Rambousek was born November 11, 1926 on the family farm northwest of Dickinson, the daughter of Anton J. and Mary Theresa (Luptak) Rambousek. She attended rural farm school in the New Hradec area and also attended Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School in New Hradec.

Eleanore married Charles A. Marsh on November 14, 1945 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She and her husband lived northwest of Dickinson for many years running a dairy operation, beef cattle and small grain farm. After retirement they moved into Dickinson and Eleanore worked for several years at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the Dietary Department.

She belonged to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and the Rūženecký Spolek. She enjoyed gardening, baking, listening to her dad play the accordion and violin, riding horses and playing cards. She was a meticulous housekeeper, and had deep dedication to her assigned Holy Hour of Adoration.

Eleanore is survived by her two children, Angie Marsh, Dickinson, and Bernie (Paulette) Marsh, Dickinson; 11 grandchildren, Jon (Marie) Tuhy, Amy Tuhy, Ali (Christopher) Bollinger, Marissa Marsh, Maranda (fiance-Kelly Carow) Marsh, Marriah (fiance-Jason Farington) Marsh, Matthew (special friend Katrina Hixon) Marsh, Marleah Marsh, Maxsonn Marsh, Marinna Marsh and Marccus Marsh; six great-grandchildren, Eliza and Nora Carow, Emma Marsh, Indika Bollinger, Maggie Tuhy and Harper Jo Boettcher; her siblings, Tony I. (Edith) Rambousek, Georgian Steffan, Henry (Gladys) Rambousek, Andrew Rambousek, Martha Marsh, Victoria (Louis) Sadowsky, Margaret Jilek and Shirley Ann Dahmus; sisters-in-law, Elsie Dvorak and Frances Marsh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in October 2001; her parents; infant sister, Edith; infant brother, Charlie; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy (Andrew) Ridl and Mary Ann (John) Praus; brothers-in-law, George C. Marsh, Sylvin Steffan, Anton Jilek and Paul Dahmus; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph (Hattie) Adamski, William Dvorak, George (Dorothy) Dvorak and Richard G. Marsh. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Dickinson Catholic Schools.
