Elmer Heinle, 71, Hebron died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at St Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Elmer’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m., CT, Monday, February 20, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Hebron with Pastor David Ling officiating, interment will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Hebron. Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. CT, at the church with a prayer service at 5 p.m. CT. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time.

Elmer Heinle was born September 1, 1940 at Antelope to Emanuel and Helen (Will) Heinle. After graduating from Hebron High School, Elmer attended Capitol Commercial College in Bismarck for one year. He then returned to Hebron where he worked various jobs to include; Lapps Jack & Jill, Hebron Brick, Hebron Public School, and as a rural mail carrier. Elmer married Linda Seidler on June 4, 1963 at First Baptist Church, Hebron.

In his spare time, Elmer enjoyed beekeeping, raising rabbits, sheep, cattle, and buffalo and working in his greenhouse, he also enjoyed traveling but time with his family was special to him.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Linda, Hebron; four children, Alida (Loran) Hibl, Dickinson, Terry (Irene) Heinle, Winner, S.D., Kim (Gregg) Nelson, Newfolden, Minn., and Chad (Tisha) Heinle, Montgomery, Minn.; eight grandchildren, Kelsey and Kara Hibl, Lexie and Jordyn Heinle, Nolan, Caleb, and Claire Nelson, and Carolyn Heinle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roland.
