Florence Hatzenbiler, 66, Dickinson, died Monday, January 12, 2015 at her home. Funeral services for Florence will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Pastor Dick Rinearson officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service.
She was born January 3, 1949 in Los Angeles, Calif., to George Salter and Irene (Gonzalez) Rook. She married the love of her life, Christ Hatzenbiler on June 6, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Florence loved going to yard sales in the summer and snuggling by the fire with her dogs in the winter. She looked forward to Saturdays shopping with her good friend Virginia Kraenzel and winter trips to Arizona with husband Christ to be with her sister Jenny and mother Irene or simply talking on the phone with her cousin Olivia. Florence was a cancer survivor, defeating the disease in the 1990’s.
She is survived by her husband Christ Hatzenbiler of Dickinson; father, George Salter of Palm Desert, Calif.; mother, Irene Rook of Golden Valley, Ariz.; two sons, George (Sylvia) Smith of Williston, and Steve (April) Hatzenbiler of Ranchester, Wyo.; two sisters, Jenny (Jim) Davis of Golden Valley, Ariz., and Connie Salter of New York; one brother, Roger (Lola) Bojorquez of Los Angeles, Calif.; one granddaughter, Alissa; four grandsons, Michael, Matthew, Dean and Shane; and numerous cousins.
She is preceded in death by her three brothers, Steve and Jesse Bojorquez and Joe Munoz.
