Franklin Pazourek, 82, Dickinson, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Funeral services for Franklin will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with speaker Tim Forster presiding. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and will continue on Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Franklin Pazourek was born December 3, 1932 in Dickinson, the son of Rudolph and Marie (Ciha) Pazourek. He was raised and educated west of Dickinson, attending Ashe Coulee Country School, and graduating from Model High in the early 1950’s. He then attended Dickinson State Teachers College.
Frank and his brother Rudy farmed together in the Schefield area, and also ran a dairy operation. He has spent the last several years under the wonderful care of the staff at the St. Luke’s Home.
He loved restoring John Deere tractors, and any stationary engines. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Franklin is survived by his brother, Rudy (Sylvia) Pazourek, Dickinson; nephew, Ben (Jodi) Pazourek, Bismarck; niece, Julie Pazourek, Dickinson; and great-niece, Shaelah Pazourek. He was preceded in death by his parents.
