Gary Edgington, 48, Dickinson, died peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at his home. Services for Gary will be held at a later date with Inurnment at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Gary Lee Edgington was born January 16, 1978 in Panorama City, CA, the son of Ronald Lee Edgington and Marie Ann Scheinle. He was raised and educated in Colorado Springs, CO, and Canoga Park, CA where he graduated from high school. Gary served honorably in the United States Army, having been deployed to Iraq. He returned to the States and was united in marriage to Tia Rogers on July 31, 2009 at Van Nuys, CA. They have made Dickinson their home for the past several years.

He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews and building Lego projects.

Gary is survived by his wife, Tia; daughter, LaNeesha Greenup of Pocatello, ID; brothers, Michael John (Monique) Edgington, Jefferson City, MO, and Bryan Keith Edgington, Dickinson; nieces and nephews, Mykael Lee and Autum (Frank) Rodriguez, Zachary Crismond, Jasmyn Edgington, and Dylan (Rubbie) Edgington; brother-in-law, Adam (Stephanie) Rogers, Dickinson and their children, Lilianna, Scott, and Maxwell Rogers; his dad, Ronald Edgington.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie (Steve) Owen; and sister-in-law, Melissa Edgington.
