William Eugene “Gene” Admidin was born on November 18, 1977, in Cody, Wyoming, to William Albert Admidin and Susan Jane (Lamalie) Admidin.

Gene was a beloved father, husband, soon to be grandpa and friend. Known for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family, Gene made a lasting impact on all who knew him.

In 1998, Gene welcomed the first of 5 daughters, Coral Paige. Chailynn Jane, Caitlynn Jo, Chelbie Nicole and Caiger Elizabeth Renee followed. Gene was a very proud girl dad. His children were his world, always making time to support and spend time with them.

A passionate man, Gene was an avid racer who found joy in every race he participated in. Whether racing, derbying, joking around, or offering a helping hand to those in need, Gene’s generosity and love for life were evident in everything he did. In Wyoming, Gene worked at various companies as a tow truck operator, a crusher operator and worked on drilling rigs. Once in North Dakota, Gene joined Edward H. Schwartz Construction where he worked until his death, as an excavator operator placing box culverts and pipe across North Dakota and even into Montana. Gene took great pride in everything he did and would never leave a job not finished. He was respected by those who worked around him and well known by many companies in the field.

On June 17, 2023, Gene married Kimberly Oe and to this union Kimberly brought another daughter, Audrey Norene and finally a son, Dalen Ryder Abraham. Although their love story was cut short, many people saw the best of him with this union.
