Genevieve “Jenny” Frenzel, 91, Dickinson, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Genevieve’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Jeff Zwack as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. There will be a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Jerry Volk presiding.

Genevieve Dukart was born April 1, 1920 on the family farm in Stark County, the daughter of Ludwig and Catherine (Hegel) Dukart. She attended school in Schefield.

Genevieve married Liberatus Frank on November 4, 1941 at St. Pius Catholic Church, Schefield, and he died on March 3, 1973. She then married Florian Frenzel on October 21, 1973, and he died on April 8, 1988. Jenny cleaned homes and offices for many years and then worked at St. Luke’s Nursing Home as a housekeeper.

She belonged to the St. Pius Verein, German-Hungarian Club, and the St. Anthony Club. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, praying, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jenny is survived by five sons, Raymond (Louise) Frank, Eugene, Ore., Ernie (Eileen) Frank, Dickinson, Ronnie (Joyce) Frank, Eugene, Ore., Herman (Loretta) Frank, Dickinson, and Harvey (Gloria) Frank, Grand Prairie, Texas; one son-in-law, George Binstock, Dickinson; three step-children, Alvin (Irene) Frenzel, Tom (Gaylene) Frenzel, and Kathy Fetch; 22 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; and one brother, Ludwig Dukart, Rochester, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; one daughter, Arlene Binstock; infant granddaughter, Danel Frank; granddaughter, Caren Binstock; five brothers; five sisters; and two step-children, Dan Frenzel and Marilyn Messer.
