Gloria J. Lindsay, 80, Dickinson, died Friday, October 26, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson. A memorial service for Gloria will be at 4 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with her son-in-law, Dennis Craig, presiding. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Gloria June Knutson was born October 23, 1932, at Cooperstown, the daughter of Otis and Hattie Marie “Goldie” (Arndt) Knutson. She was raised and educated in Cooperstown, graduating from Cooperstown High School.
Gloria married James E. Lindsay on June 21, 1961, in Powell, Wyo. They have lived in Wyoming and Washington prior to moving to Dickinson, where they have made their home for the past several years. She enjoyed working with ceramics, gardening, and especially spending time with her family.
Gloria is survived by her husband, James; four children, Linda Camara, Dickinson, Lana (Dennis) Craig, Laramie, Wyo., Darrel (Chris) Hembroff, Bonney Lake, Wash., and Danny (Jewel) Hembroff, Puyallup, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Knutson, Minneapolis, Minn.; and one sister-in-law, Sibby Knutson, Valley City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Goldie; and one brother, Odine Knutson.
