Harold W. Gawryluk, 72, formerly of Belfield, died Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Hill Top Home of Comfort, Killdeer. A Panakhyda/Parastas for Harold will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Fr. Ivan Shkumbatyuk and Deacon Leonard Kordonowy presiding. Interment will take place at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Cemetery, Belfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
Harold W. Gawryluk was born May 20, 1946 in Dickinson, the son of Matthew J. and Annie F. (Gauthier) Gawryluk. He was raised and educated at the Grafton State School, along with his brother Roger. Harold resided in group homes in the Dickinson area. For the past ten years he has been a resident of Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer.
To Harold things were always “good”. He enjoyed playing checkers, working on puzzles and loved people.
Harold is survived by four sisters, Irene Gawryluk, Dickinson, Patricia Decker, Bismarck, Carol White, Mesa, Ariz. and Margaret Gawryluk, Custer, S.D.; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Roger.
