Irene Haag, 73, formerly of Richardton, died Monday, October 26, 2020 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial for Irene at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton with Fr. Thomas Wordekemper, OSB as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Irene Haag was born on January 16, 1947 in Richardton, the daughter of Joseph and Louise (Kopp) Haag. Irene lived in Grafton and later moved to a group home in Dickinson. She moved to St. Benedict’s Health center in 2012.
Irene liked to put puzzles together, and look at catalogs and magazines with pictures. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She also enjoyed making necklaces and beads. Irene enjoyed so much when family members came to visit her and brought her a bag of treats and snacks. Irene was so happy and excited.
Irene is survived by her siblings, Jose (Cal) Ullendorf, Ken Haag, Matt (Marilyn) Haag, and Jeff Haag; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph (2004) and Louise (2017); her brother, Daniel (1999); and her sister, Linda (2020).
